Food Cupboard News
There are many families in need of food at this time during the Corona Virus quarrentine who rely on our food cupboard. Our shelves are in need of replenishing—
Your Generosity with any donations is appreciated.
Please bring all donations to St. Jude Church. Totes are available in the hallway of the Gathering Area.
If bring cases, please do not break apart. Thank you.
The following is the procedure for receiving food assistance.
- Call Donna at 329-6687. If you do not speak directly with Donna, leave your name, short message and phone number on her phone. DO NOT call the office or the emergency number, the emergency number is for people who are ill or dying. If you do not call Donna, or leave a message on her phone, you will not be able to receive food assistance.
- You will receive a phone call back by Donna to set up an appointment to pick up food. Please be patient and wait for her call, it may not be until the next day. Please, DO NOT call the emergency number.
- PLEASE, come at the appointed time that Donna and you have agreed on. If you are earlier or later than 10 minutes, you will have to reschedule for another appointment. There will be no exceptions. If you cannot make it to your appointment, please be considerate and call Donna.
- REQUEST FOR FOOD will be limited to once a month. Because the need for food assistance is growing within the community, we will be keeping track of the date food is handed out to a family. Please be respectful of others that may also need food. Do not request for assistance until a month has passed from the time you received help.
It is our prayer that in time you will be independent and in return be able to give back to others in need. Until that time comes, we are glad to assist you during this difficult time.
